Blepharoplasty
General information. Follow the individual instructions from your treating team. These pages do not prescribe treatment or replace an examination.
What you may notice
Bruising, swelling and temporary asymmetry can occur during early healing. The appearance changes as swelling settles.
Care at home
Follow your surgeon’s wound-care plan. Do not remove stitches or adhesive strips yourself unless instructed. Use only the prescribed eye treatments.
Follow-up & recovery
Confirm the wound-review or stitch-removal appointment and your personal guidance for exercise, makeup and contact lenses.
Before returning to activities
Ask your team about washing, bathing, swimming, exercise, driving, work, contact lenses, makeup and any eye protection. Confirm your follow-up and who to contact if no appointment arrives. Feeling better does not replace the planned review.
Seek urgent help
Sudden or worsening vision, severe or increasing pain, increasing redness or swelling, or new flashes or a curtain over vision need urgent assessment. Do not wait for your next appointment or a WhatsApp reply.
